Types of Halal Certifications

  1. Whole Plant Scheme
    Issued to manufacturing plants for all products.
  2. Products Scheme
    Issued to Made in Bahrain products but limited to some of the total products in a particular unit.
  3. Eating Establishment Scheme
    Issued to all food outlets & eating establishment & kitchens.
  4. F&B Preparation Scheme
    Issued to catering companies and establishment with Centralized kitchens.
  5. Poultry & Abattoir Scheme
    Issued to slaughterhouse doing halal slaughtering (no stunning, no mechanical slaughtering) And Issued to companies dealing only in halal meat (raw) excluding slaughtering.
  6. Storage/Warehouse Facility Scheme
    Issued to all distribution centre/warehouses and storage facilities.
  7. Halal Friendly Services
    Issued to hotels, hospitals, airports, family entertainment facilities, etc.
